Tyler Ramaley, a 31-year-old resident of Wilmington, Delaware, has entered a guilty plea for distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The announcement was made by Dylan J. Steinberg, Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware. The plea was accepted by Judge Gregory B. Williams.

The investigation into Ramaley began in October 2024 when law enforcement received reports of an individual participating in online video calls where CSAM was shared and viewed. Authorities identified Ramaley as the individual involved in these activities. He admitted to possessing CSAM on his devices and broadcasting it during video calls.

“Sharing explicit images of children being sexually abused is a heinous crime,” stated Acting U.S. Attorney Steinberg. “My office remains committed to investigating and bringing to justice those who possess and distribute child sexual abuse material.”

FBI Baltimore Acting Special Agent in Charge Amanda M. Koldjeski remarked, “Ramaley thought he could hide behind a keyboard, but the FBI and our partners will work relentlessly to identify and hold accountable predators who exploit innocent children.”

The FBI led the investigation with assistance from local authorities including the New Castle County Police Department, Delaware State Police, and Chester County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Claudia L. Pare prosecuted the case.

Ramaley faces up to 20 years in prison with a mandatory minimum sentence of five years. Judge Williams will determine his sentence based on federal guidelines.
